About Us
Marion Cricket Club is a proud part of Club Marion, operating under the umbrella of
the Marion Sports & Community Club. With a strong community focus and a
commitment to development across all levels, we provide opportunities for players of
all ages and abilities to play and grow in the game they love.
Our senior men’s and women’s teams compete in the Adelaide Turf Cricket
Association (ATCA), while our junior boys also participate in the same league. Our
junior girls proudly represent the club in SACA’s Strikers Girls Cricket League, helping to
develop the next generation of female cricketers.
In the 2024/25 season, Marion Cricket Club experienced outstanding growth, with
104 registered senior men, 17 senior women, 102 junior boys, and 43 junior girls. We
also delivered a successful Cricket Blast program, introducing 31 young participants to
the sport for the first time.
We proudly fielded a wide range of teams across all age groups and formats. Our
senior men’s program included three two-day teams (A2, B1, B3), two one-day teams
(LO3, LO7), and two T20 teams (Division 1 and Division 2). Our senior women’s team
competed strongly in Division 2.
Our junior boys program featured teams in Under 15 (Division 1), Under 14 (Division
2), Under 12 (Division 1), two Under 12 (Division 2) teams, and three Under 10 teams.
Our junior girls took the field in Under 18, Under 15, Under 12, and Under 10 age
groups—demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting and developing
young talent.
As we look ahead to the 2025/26 season, Marion Cricket Club remains dedicated to
building a supportive and high-quality cricket environment for our members and the
wider community.
